Searching for recently uploaded articles

Hello - is there any way in the current version to sort by upload datetime, or show recently uploaded articles? Thanks.
  • Like sorting by the column Date Added? If you don't see this column in the main view, you can add it via a right click on any column header
  • Ah of course, many thanks!
  • This is not working for me. I only have Title and Creator columns. Unable to add a column, and unable to change a column heading with right click. Please advise.
  • @Agj221: Right-clicking on the column headers definitely works. To be clear, this is about the items list in the main window of the Zotero desktop app. If you're referring to something else, it's not going to work. If you're having trouble, take a screenshot, upload it somewhere (Google Drive, Dropbox, etc.), and provide a link here.
  • Here's a screenshot - grateful for your help! (I'm new to Zotero...)

You'll need to make that link public. (You can send a public link to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread if you prefer, but we'll respond here either way.)
  • OK, so right-click on Title or Creator above the items list and you'll see the column picker.
  • Here's what happened - you should know this. It DOES NOT WORK with a right click. But if I hit Control and click on it, it does. Thank you.

No, that's a misunderstanding. "Right-click" on a Mac just means the secondary click — control-click, two-finger tap on a trackpad if that's enabled on your system, or right-click on an external mouse. If you don't actually have an external mouse then there's no literal right mouse button, but any documentation you see for any software that says "right-click" just means the same thing. Every piece of cross-platform software can't possibly write "(or control-click on a Mac)" every time — it's just assumed that Mac users know that it means the secondary click, which will vary depending on what input device they have.
  • I have a Magic Mouse, and I do know that. Turns out something else was the issue. I checked the mouse settings, and the right click was turned off! No idea how that happened. Please pardon! Thank you so much for your patience and assistance.
