How to see just the PDF

Hi Gurus!
I dragged and dropped 30 PDF's into Zotero, I see the files and need to hit the drop down to see the PDF, is there a way just to see the PDF? Is my layout incorrect?

    What's the actual goal? All files are attached to metadata items in Zotero, but you can, e.g., just double-click the parent item to open the PDF. What are you actually trying to do when you want to "just see the PDF"?

    With the focus on the main item pane, you can see *both* the parent item and its attachments by using the + key to expand all items (and the - key to collapse them again).

    Adam, I was trying to rename with metadata, yet does not work unless I click on each PDF - was looking for a faster way.

    Tim, thank you for your response, I was hoping to just see the attachment not parent for renaming purposes.
