Disable first names in Chicago author-date

Hey everyone, I have a problem with the first names in Chicago 17 author-date. When two entries of the same author have different first names, it includes the first name in the citation, which it should not. This is a problem when you cite authors who wrote in different languages, i.e., when Alexander Etkind writes in English, he's Alexander Etkind, when he writes in Russian, he's AleKSanDR. And I must not change this in the Zotero library, since in my field of research you should always use the exact spelling given on the book cover. Is there any way to turn off the mention of first names even if they differ?

Cf. an example:
Etkind example quote (Alexander Etkind 2011; 2003; Aleksandr Etkind 2019)

Etkind, Aleksandr. 2019. Khlyst: sekty, literatura i revoliutsiia. Moskva: Novoe literaturnoe obozrenie.
Etkind, Alexander. 2003. “Whirling with the Other: Russian Populism and Religious Sects.” The Russian Review 62 (4): 565–88.
