APA7: 'Series' not showing

Hey there,

I am using APA7 and have a problem with the information about 'Series'.

The text from the field 'Series' is not showing in my bibliography. I am citing this book using Item Type = Book (you can change language to English on the top right corner): https://www.peterlang.com/document/1050234

The Item is shown like this:

Dengler, M. (2016). Empirische Analyse lernfeldbasierter Unterrichtskonzeptionen in der Metalltechnik (Bd. 33). Peter Lang Edition.

Bd. 33 = Volume 33, but I am missing the Series 'Beiträge zur Arbeits-, Berufs- und Wirtschaftspädagogik'.

I guess I could use Item Typ = Thesis, but with using Thesis, there is no way to state, that it is published in a Series in a specific Volume, so I'd withheld some information.

I'm curious how to fix that or to find a proper workaround.

    I don't believe series information is commonly cited in APA, which is why it wouldn't appear
    (volume is intended for the volume number of a multi-volume publication, not the number in a series, which would be series number and also wouldn't appear)

    I was not sure about the series information in APA7, couldn‘t find any information about this at all. I‘ll keep searching. But that is what a colleague of mine guessed too.

    Regarding volume I am totally with you! I’m using zotero in german setting where it‘s called something that is compatible with series. In the english setting it‘s obviously wrong, I just did not see ‚series number’ (in german it‘s # of series) - shoutout to our 1-yo giving us some sleepless nights.

    Series information is not ever cited for books in APA 7. This is a change from APA ) where series was occasionally included.
