Zotero experienced an error updating your document

Hello ! Hope you are doing well all
So while i was working on my thesis my mouse stoped working and i clicked by mistake on unlink citations and i don't know if this is the problem but since then zotero has been sending the same error message 'zotero experienced an error updating your document ' or 'you must insert a citation before performing this operation ' i restarted windows, office word and zotero also started a new document but still nothing worked
I really don't know how to fix that problem can you help me please

    If you unlinked citations, you unlinked citations, and none of your old Zotero citations would be active. But Unlink Citations has a confirmation prompt that you would have to click through, and you would then have to actually save the flattened document for it to be permanent. If you did those things, you no longer have your citations unless you have a backup of the document.

    Thank god it wasn't much and i can re-do it but zotero is not working anymore on any new document
    But nothing like confirmation prompt has appeared i think because i clicked on it like 3 times :')

    Still not working :( i think I'm going to export my files and then uninstall it and reinstall it

    Unlinking citations in one document would have absolutely no effect on whether they work in a new document.

    If you can't cite in a new document, you'd have to say what exactly is happening (and I'd recommend staying away from drastic troubleshooting -- e.g. exporting and importing files is quite counterproductive when working with citations in Word)

    The problem is whenever i open a new word document and try to use zotero it says tou must insert a citation before performing this operation

    You must insert a citation before performing this operation.
    You appear to be clicking Add/Edit Bibliography. As it says, you need to insert citations before you do that.
