Title case of book title in Book Review article

Zotero 6.0.23 | Windows 10 | Chicago Manual of Style 17th Full Note CSL 3/31/2023

Hello! The capitalization of the book title in a book review article is still in sentence case instead of Title Case:

Where "Teaching Mindfulness to Children" is the book being reviewed, this is the current bibliography generated by Zotero:

Hooker, Karen E. Review of Teaching mindfulness to children, by Iris E. Fodor. Gestalt Review 12, no. 1 (2008): 75–91.

My current workaround is storing the book title in Title Case instead of Sentence case.
  • If you didn't modify the style, there is a problem with it. This is how it looks like for me:
Karen E. Hooker and Iris E. Fodor, “Teaching Mindfulness to Children,” Gestalt Review 12, no. 1 (January 1, 2008): 75–91, https://doi.org/10.5325/gestaltreview.12.1.0075.
    I use Sentence case.

I adjusted a regular journal article on hand to showcase the issue since I am reporting the problem I saw one someone else's work, and I don't remember the actual information. Citing a regular journal article looks fine, yes. Here's an actual book review example:

Amore, Roy C. Review of Buddhism after patriarchy: A feminist history, analysis, and reconstruction of Buddhism, by Rita M. Gross. Buddhist-Christian Studies 14 (1994): 245–48. https://doi.org/10.2307/1389849.

  • You probably should revert to the original CSL first, as "Review of" is systematically added to your title. Then check if problem occurs in a new document.
  • Review of is in the style when "Reviewed author" is present -- we can take a look
