firefox connector - issue No. 719395306 ; cannot save certain PDFs

hello,

When attempting to save some online PDFs, the firefox connector:

* Does not save the PDF to zotero
* Does not show any errors about this failure, even with logging on

See, for example, https://www.sigmaaldrich.com/CO/es/sds/aldrich/451657 , for a PDF URL that doesn't work properly.

    That won't work, unfortunately — they're doing some weird JavaScript-based verification thing on the initial page load and showing an embedded PDF, and then subsequent reloads that do offer the PDF directly seem to depend on a unique cookie set by the previous request (so even repeating a successful PDF download using the full request made by the browser won't work). This is not remotely a standard practice.

    You'll need to download that and drag it to Zotero.

    hmm, yes, I see what you mean, although I had to check in Chrome to see the actual HTML that was being rendered instead of the PDF document.

    From my POV, this issue can be closed; I could not find where to do so :(
