Bug Report ID:1995202203
Hello, when I use zotero to open a certain PDF to read, the right column is blank, how can I solve it?
-
dstillmanDisable your third-party plugins.
-
To be excellentthank you for your reply. Some third-party plug-ins are necessary for me, and I have to use them. Is there a more suitable solution?
-
dstillmanedited April 4, 2023You have to figure out which one is causing it. Disable them all and then re-enable them one by one, and then report the problem to the plugin developer (and let us know as well).
-
To be excellentok, I will try this.
-
To be excellentYes, I found the problematic plugin, it's Zotero LibreOffice Integration.I would like to ask what this plugin is used for. Will it affect the normal use of zotero after I delete this plugin?
-
dstillmanNo, that's incorrect. That plugin is part of Zotero and definitely isn't causing this problem.
-
To be excellentBut after I close this plugin, the third-party plugin can be used normally.
-
dstillmanedited April 4, 2023And if you re-enable it, the problem will almost certainly still be gone. I promise you it's not caused by that — the plugin has no connection whatsoever to the PDF reader. This would've just been from restarting plus some combination of other actions.
-
To be excellentIn any case, I would like to thank you for your answer. Maybe, when I'm free someday, I'll reinstall zotero
-
dstillmanedited April 4, 2023No, reinstalling Zotero doesn't do anything. This was just one of your many third-party plugins — not the LibreOffice plugin — interfering with Zotero. You should identify which one it is so you can report it to the developer.
-
To be excellentOk, then I ruled out the wrong plugin again
