Zotero toolbar missing in Libreoffice

Hello,

my OS is linux mint and I use Libreoffice. In Libreoffice, Zotero toolbar is missing (symbols in toolbar are replaced by text: "add/edit citation, "add note" etc.) and nothing happens when I click on the buttons.
When I go to "preferences" ===> "cite" ===> "word processors" , no libreoffice integration plugin available for installation appears in Zotero. Only option that appears is: "use classic add citation dialog"

    I deleted extensions.json, but I still can't install plugin.

    I also tried the manual installation option:

    What am I supposed to do with the file Zotero_Openoffice_integration.oxt after double clicking on it?

    I'm not sure why you're using a search tool. Just open your Zotero profile directory and find the file.

    In addition, I tried installing the zoteroopenofficeintegation@zotero.org file using extension manager in LibreOffice, but here, I need detailed instructions about how to proceed.

    The first thing you need to fix is getting the LibreOffice plugin to show up in Tools → Add-ons and the Cite → Word Processors pane of the preferences. That's the point of the extensions.json instructions. Are you seeing the plugin in those places now?

    Can you provide a Report ID?

    How did you install Zotero?

    I'm not sure why you're asking this, though? You said you deleted the file from the profile folder. How did you do that if you didn't open the folder?

    And you didn't answer the three questions I asked.

    I think I know how to open folders on my computer, I just don't know how to open this specific folder. Why, by the way, should not having basic computer knowledge exclude someone from getting help?

    It's just about what we can help with here. You can find Linux help in many other places, but we're Zotero developers and have lots of people to help with Zotero-specific questions. There are also standard ways of doing things (like, say, opening hidden folders) on macOS and Windows, but Linux depends entirely on the distro, file manager, etc., so we have to trust that people using Linux either know what they're doing on their own systems or know where to get help.
