A text PDF scanned from an image will appear intermittent when a text is selected with highlight
The pdf has no problem with pdf expert when the text is selected with highlight
I found the pdf that had been converted from micro word did not have this problem
I used abbyy finereader5 for pdf recognition

    On the desktop, abbyy finereader15 can solve most of these problems. The main reason is that the text box is not set properly in the recognition software, but the problem is still serious on the ipad. However, the same pdf has no problem in other pdf readers, so there should be room for improvement

    On the desktop computer, the main reason why the interrupted selection problem occurs is that abbyy uses two or more text boxes when identifying text in a line. I can solve this problem by manually by selecting one text box, but on the ipad, it has nothing to do with text boxes. but I find that most of the interrupted areas are the text before and after punctuation marks.or I chose to put the text layer on top when exporting, which can also solve this problem, but these problem in the same pdf do not exist in other pdf readers, indicating that the technology can solve this problem, hopefully these clues can help the author analyze the problem
