    Start by upgrading to a current version of macOS — either the latest Monterey version or Ventura.

    I upgraded to the latest Monterey version. But zotero still crash when I import file.

    Can you provide the crash report you’re getting now?

    If you’re running any third-party plugins, try disabling them.

    Can you explain the exact step you’re taking to reproduce the crash? Does this happen with any PDF or only some?

    I encounter this crash also. Each time when I drag a pdf file to a collection, it'll quit.
    My mac is Ventura 13.2.1, and Zotero 6.0.22. with zotfile.

    There's a known bug in Zotero on macOS where plugins that open a progress window can trigger a crash when using an external monitor. That will be fixed in Zotero 7 later this year.
