How to increase the speed of scrolling in the PDF viewer
It is too slower than other readers

hu-itanuThis is one of my main issues as well. It seems to be images that slow it down most. I have a lot of scanned books that were scanned in color even though they are all text. Converting them to B&W speeds them up tremendously and allows Zotero to scroll pretty smoothly.

Tremolophage@jocabia and @hu-itanu I've found the same issue. The PDF viewer is anemic on many fronts. Good to know about converting to b&w, though for Islamic mss one then loses crucial headings in red ink.

alexanderweber@jacabia, setting Preferences > Advanced > Config Editor > "mousewheel.min_line_scroll_amount" to 50 helped :)

LWTaylorThanks Alex. Just done the same (changing mousewheel.min_line_scroll_amount) within Zotero 7.0.11 - as following the update from last version the speed of scrolling was far too slow. Kept upping the value until happy with speed (for me, 100 suited). Hopefully I won't have to keep changing it, otherwise it'd be good if this adjustment could be within the actual PDF viewer itself rather than tucked away in Config Editor.
