The focus of the variations seems to focus on books and journals, there are some slight variations.

1. Citation
When you want to acknowledge a source, you should cite the author's family name, year of publication and page number(s), if required,within the main body of your work.

Research is always developing and even peer-reviewed publications which have undergone checks by experts are open to interpretation. Therefore it's important to critically evaluate published information and determine your own view (Wallace and Wray, 2016).

Full details of each citation should be included in a reference list at the end of your work in alphabetical order by author name.

I have spoken with an academic and have been informed that Plymouth CTR is slightly different. I am using CTR 12th at present. It seems to be something to do with the in-text citations that is a little different.
