Hello!
I just downloaded Zotero for Chrome, and I can't seem to get it to run as it should. It says that Zotero is currently unavailable in the extension settings.
I disabled AdBlock and thought that would solve the problem, but it still shows the same message.
However, I went to one of the supported websites and I was able to save to Zotero.org, which isn't the best way of doing it (but I don't remember the alternative).

What does the message mean and how can I remove it?
  • See https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/connector_zotero_unavailable

If you already gave it permission to save to zotero.org, you should clear credentials in the General pane of the Zotero preferences and debug it properly.
  • Alright.
I cleared the credentials, what should I do now?
I'm still unable to establish a connection between the Google Docs extension with the desktop app.
When I try to open the link that is referenced in the support page you sent to check the connection, it says that the site can't be reached. How do I check the proxy/firewall?
  • You'll want to follow all the troubleshooting steps on that page. We can't help troubleshoot network configuration problems on people's individual computers, but that page provides all the information someone should need to fix it. If you have an IT department, you can share it with them and they should be able to help.
