Sync complete and all documents available on demand, but not all pdfs are fully downloaded

I just synced the database to a new computer, and it captured all my files. However, the pdf icon for all the files are transparent, except for the files I have already opened. Is there a way to fully load all the pdfs automatically without opening each document one by one?

    Do you have attachments set to download at sync time or on demand?

    It was on demand, so I just switched it to at sync time. However, it still is not downloading the files fully after I clicked the refresh sync button.

    It might not download all the files until the next time you make a file change on another computer — there's an optimization to not check all files on every sync, and it might not be taking the mode switch into account. (If so, that's a bug. We'll look into it.) You can force it by using Reset File Sync History from the Sync → Reset pane of the preferences.

    I reset the file sync history, but most pdfs are still transparent.
