Bibliography in Google Docs document suddenly appears as HTML!

Hi, this started happening at some point tonight: where the bibliography used to appear, I get plain HTML code for the biography entries appearing in the document:

<div class="csl-bib-body">
<div class="csl-entry">

etc.

I have tried to
- upgrade Zotero (I was on 6.0.20, now on 6.0.22)
- restart browser
- delete all the HTML and re-add bibliography from the Zotero menu in G docs

Still same problem. I can insert and edit bibliography references in the document.

If it matters, I'm using Firefox on Ubuntu.

I'm still a few months from deadline on this document, but if I were closer I might be panicking now.. hope nobody else hits this problem close to an actual deadline :/
  • Does this happen with any citation style?

    Does it happen in a new document?

    If you don't mind, can you make a copy of the document (File → Make a copy) and send an excerpt that reproduces the problem to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?
  • @hallvors One of your cited items has a quote symbol " in the URL field. You need to find it and delete that symbol from the URL field, then refresh the citations in Google Docs.
  • Wow - it worked! I had three links containing two " each. Replacing them with the escaped version %22 solved the problem. Thank you @adomasven :)
