Are you saying this is a problem with the synced PDFs, or new PDFs that you save on this computer?

If the former, can you open the same PDFs in your web library online?

Can you provide a Debug ID for trying to open one of these files?
  • ID :D576084853

No , I can not open synced PDFs, but can you open the same PDFs in the web and also in pdf reader
  • [JavaScript Error: "uncaught exception: out of memory"]
That's a 600 MB PDF, and you're hitting the limit of how much memory the current version of Zotero is able to use on Windows for technical reasons. Other platforms aren't affected.

The next major version of Zotero, Zotero 7, will fix this limit (and possibly reduce memory usage in the PDF reader in general), though that's still a huge PDF by any measure, and I'd guess that you'd have problems in some other PDF readers as well. You can test opening it in Firefox to get a general idea of how performance will be in Zotero 7.
  • I understand. I will have to use the pdf of the pc.

If my pdf file inside zotero I open it with an external program and make annotations. Will I be able to synchronize and extract those annotations with zotero?
  • Zotero will sync changed files normally, yes.

You can try creating a note from the annotations by right-clicking on the item in the items list. There's a decent chance that will work even if you can't open the PDF in the PDF reader.
  • Unfortunately when I insert underlines in an external pdf, it increases in size and the zotero pdf viewer does not read it. This affected my work with obsidian to export annotations. I will have to wait for improvement of the pdf viewer.
