Warn the user when adding a new item that is already in the library

Hi, is it possible to warn the user when he/she attempts to add a new item that is already in the library? I think at least for papers added with DOI, this is is possible, because it is simply: "search with DOI" --> "warn if already exist".

Seconded. Additionally when clicking a link to a reference in a PDF that loads a DOI URL it would be great if it would check your library first and direct you to the record there if it exists.
