Help with editing/correcting Zotero citations from my personal library in shared manuscript

I am working on a shared manuscript using Zotero citation manager in google docs. I have maintained a bibliography myself and have been using citations from my personal Zotero library. Is there a way to share my library with another member of my team so they can help review and correct citations without them becoming unlinked from the document?

I'm trying to avoid having them comment on bibliography and having to make all the changes myself.

Also is there a way to remove the "accessed date" in bibliography as a default setting? the Zotero AMA style seems to include Accessed date for almost everything although it is not always appropriate.

Thanks!
Lara
  • Other people with access to the Google Doc can add additional instances of the citations you've already added to the document, but they can't correct metadata, since that's stored in your library. Currently, to make that possible you need to insert from a group library to begin with. If you just drag the items to a group library now, those would be separate copies of the items that wouldn't be linked to the document, so you'd have to relink each citation to the version in the group library.

We're hoping to improve this in a future version (e.g., by making it possible to automatically relink all citations in a document to the versions of those items in a different library), but that's likely a ways off.
