Can't do in-line citations - why?

I am using Zotero for the first time in Word, and when I try to chose a citation style it is only giving me the options to cite either as endnotes or footnotes - but I need to do inline citations (Author YEAR) type. What gives?

    You've selected a note-based style. If you want in-text citations, pick an in-text style (e.g., APA).
