How to change the order of references?

I have a paper, but I need to overwrite many paragraphs and change some positions of references. So how could I change the order of references and could you please give me the steps of reordering references in detail ? Thank you !

    I assume you're using a numeric style? Which exactly?

    Hitting the "Refresh" button should automatically reorder the citations if you move paragraphs around.
