Molecular ecology referencing style
Hi, I'm currently preparing a manuscript for Molecular Ecology.
I've used the CSL that is offered by Zotero for this journal https://www.zotero.org/styles?q=id:molecular-ecology and it overall seems fine in the bibliography, however in the in-text citations, it lists all the authors when it should only list up to 3 max eg. (Name1, Name2, Name3, Name..., NameN, 2023) when it should really just be (Name1 et al., 2023).
I'm looking for another CSL that might be more appropriate or for a way to solve this issue? Would anyone have any ideas?

adamsmithUse APA 7th edition (which is already installed in your Zotero)-- the journal used to follow APA 6th edition style which prints up to five authors on first citation and the current style follows that, but it looks like they updated to 7th edition which always uses et al. for 3+ authors.
