On vacation I had to go to my parents and download from the cloud my text with links. On the previous computer everything worked fine. Links to the document are lost on the new computer. Is it possible to restore them?

What do you mean by "links to the document are lost"?

You need to be using your synced Zotero library on the computer you're using for existing citations to be linked to your library.

Oh, that just means you saved the document in the wrong format.
