Move child notes while retaining parent info
I'm new to Zotero - just trying it out.
Is there a way to move child notes around (ex. order by topic, pattern, outline, chronology, move child notes into collections, sub-collections, etc.) while still retaining the parent bibliographical information? It seems like if you move a child note away from its parent source, it becomes a standalone note.
I'd like to be able to move individual notes around in order to group notes visually by common features, yet still have each note retain its original bibliographical parent information. Can this be done?

dstillmanIt can't, but it's been a longstanding request. (There's an old ticket for this, and some old discussions linked from there.)

shl007I agree the ability to move notes around would be great!
