"An error occurred while rendering the page"

I get this error when I try to open one specific item in my library, in Zotero Reader. On all pages in that PDF. I can open PDF fine in Adobe. It still opens the pages but as far as I can see, it opens only the OCR, not the actual PDF image.

I have completed OCR in ABBYY Fine Reader prior to storing it in Zotero.

Any idea how to fix it?

    Could you paste the complete error message with all details?

    I can't because I don't know how to copy it. I can select it though. It says something about "Stack" and "CanvasGraphics".

    Are you just selecting the tab? Because we need to log the moment when you open the PDF file and the error occurs.

    Oh, I guess you already did exactly that.

    Unfortunately I can't see the error message. But most likely this is a known issue that occurs with some scanned papers containing very large images.

    Perhaps you are right. It's a PhD dissertation that, when opened in Adobe, says that Page Size is "39,57x60,10 in", and its 70Mb in size.
