Unable to open files on IOS (Using webDAV and koofr, need help)

I have recently downloaded the Zotero app on my iPhone, and I am new into connecting it all together with my files on my macbook. As I had reached above the Zotero storage file limit and financially limited, I am trying to see how it works using WebDAV.Now I managed through some digging, to download Koofr to sync files with WebDAV. On my Koofr account I can see all the files coming in. Now when I go to my phone, I can see the files, but when I try to download the attachments, it doesn't seem to download.
What do I need to do? Do I need to change the setting on the Zotero app on my iPhone? or do I need to do something with the advanvced settings on my Zotero macbook, in the files/folders section?
My main goal is the ability to open the attachments on different devices, annonate on different different and getting it synced. I tried following various youtube videos, but none of them highlight how to go from the syncing step with Koofr (or equivalent) to the next.. any help is appreciated
  • Thank you. So, I have gone through the steps again, and have tried to edit the settings on my Zotero iOS app to the same settings as my deskptop app (ie. changing it from Zotero to Webdav with all the same username and passwords), but this is where the app doesn't respond. I hit 'verify server', and it shows a conitnous loading circle, but doens't actually verify (it neither says doesn't match), it just keeps loading.. What do I do?
  • Can you provide a Debug ID for a Verify Server attempt?
  • Yes, Debug ID is D1261575692
  • That doesn't show you doing anything.
  • Sorry i don't understand. So I have been trying in the settings to link it to the Webdav. And when I go to the documents and try to download, it just stays on 'downloaded 0/2' but not actually downloading anything?
  • We would need to see a Debug ID that shows you actually trying to do something that's not working. You submitted an empty one that didn't log any activity.
  • Oh ok. And now? D1424934255
  • Still empty. Not sure what you're doing here, but you're not logging anything.

You can try using "Start Logging on Next App Launch", force-quitting the app, and restarting it to log the initial sync or Verify Server attempt.
  • Okay done the steps; this should now show you something: D1742109674 (fingers crossed)
  • (+0000346): HTTP OPTIONS https://app.koofr.net/dav/Koofr/zotero/ failed with 429

[ERROR] Zotero(+0000000): Too many login retries
The WebDAV server is blocking you with an HTTP 429 Too Many Requests error.
  • Ok. Will wait to then try again with a newly generarated 16number password with koofr on both devices.
