Word 365 add in not working

Have not ever faced this problem and nothing seems to be working, so wondering if it is a new issue. My zotero add on in Word (from the Office 365) will not show up. I followed the instructions to get to the .dotm file and if I click that, a new document opens and I need to enable macros and it works. If I close it, off that goes with it. Open an old file from sharepoint, no zotero.

I have tried enabling all macros from the trust centre to no luck. Any help massively appreciated. Thanks!

Hi thanks for the response. Tried this multiple times on different profiles, changing parameters etc but finally what worked was this: https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_manual_installation

For whatever reason, zotero plug in was refusing to show up until that roaming bit was set right.
