cannot use zotero in word

Dear,
I can't see the zotero tab anymore in word, to add new citations. Currently running version 6.0.18, I have reinstalled zotero and also re-enabled the plugin for word.
Strangely, the C/program files (x86) does not show a Zotero submap.

Dear, I've done the 5 steps as indicated but still no Zotero Icon in my word file. I previously did automatic installation. I presume it makes no sense doing manual reinstallation now?

@thdvg I had this problem yesterday too. re-installing the word plug-in didn't work the first few times but then suddenly worked on the fourth occasion. I think there may have been a momentary glitch, that has now been resolved?
