Automatic copy files in C:\

Good morning,

A user of Zotero in our library, ask us for a facility of Mendeley Desktop which we don’t find in Zotero: the option of copy the download files (pdf) in Zotero and -automatically- in the C:\

Do you know if Zotero has this option?

    I think it’s not exactly the same. If I understand correctly, the watch folder option led you to import the files automatically from your C:\ to Mendeley Desktop.
    The facility our user looks for, is the opposite: save the files automatically when she downloads from the save button, both in Zotero and in a c:\ Folder.
    Personally, I don’t think it’s necessary, but, if there’s the option I’d like to show her.

    That doesn't make sense. Files in Zotero are already on disk, and there's no reason to duplicate them all and waste disk space. If they just want a way to find stored files from outside Zotero, they can use their OS search or created a flat list of PDFs using a smart folder.     I will show hes the https://www.zotero.org/support/zotero_data option, as you say is duplicate them.
