Corresponding author wildcard

First, thank you! I'm finally getting a handle on my article PDFs - spending more time reading/annotating and less time organizing.

I was just wondering if there was (or could be) a wildcard that would work for the last (or corresponding) author of an article? Renaming or depositing into folders by last author could be useful in tracking sets of articles published by the same labs.

    Almost ten years later, there is still no this function. Why not Zotero add this function to the software?

    (We get hundreds of feature requests a year, and most things have been requested before. Finding an existing feature request for something doesn't really mean anything.)

    I'm not even sure what this is referring to. If this is about ZotFile, we don't have anything to do with that, and ZotFile is mostly unmaintained at this point.

    If you’re using Zotfile, it has a wildcard for last author that can be used for renaming PDFs.
