'Notes' column displays number when no note is present
For many of my documents, the column 'Notes' displays '1' when there is no note present, or when there are notes present, it displays [number of notes] + 1. This does not happen on all documents however. Some behave as expected. All documents have a single PDF. It occurs regardless of whether there are any other associated files (snapshot, etc). I've refreshed, and restarted the program and this feature is still persisting. Any advice on this? Or more generally, I'm just looking for a system to help me keep track of what papers in a project folder I've read, without having to create subfolders.

sixditThis is exactly what I wanted to ask. I found the same trouble in my Zotero. I will also make a post on this issue.

dstillmanedited November 4, 2022The count includes embedded notes for attachment items (e.g., a table of contents added by the ZotFile plugin).
