arXiv postings saved as regular articles

arXiv postings were saved as regular regular articles before, however, they become to be saved as preprints after an update in May or so. I wonder whether I can choose to ask the Chrome connector again to save them as regular articles like before?

I have the same issue with firefox, the connector is updated at the version of 28 of Sept. 2022. I get that they are technically preprints, so this should be the "correct" way to handle it, but it is an issue when generating the bibliography.

They should be saved as preprints. What citation style are you using? The style would need to be updated to correctly format preprints

I use betterBibTex, which classifies them as @misc instead of @article

Talk to the BBT developer (on the project page). BBT lets you post-process exports so you can easily export all preprints as @ article or even just arXiv ones
