Zotero connector not showing in safari extension pane

I've read https://www.zotero.org/support/kb/safari_compatibility and other posts in this forum. I've reinstalled zotero 6 and restart the computer. But there is really no zotero connector in the safari extension pane for me to enable. (It only has Tick tick and grammarly that I recently installed.)

What exactly I did: Install zotero 6, open it, open safari, go to safari - preferences - extensions. And there are only Tick tick and grammarly there. Please help, thanks a lot!

    What exactly did you do?

And what macOS version is this?
  • @dstillman you can see what I did in the original post. I did it once, can't find it, then reinstalled, did it again, can't find it, then restart the computer and did it again and it's still not there.

My mac is macOS catalina 15.10.7. Is it too old?
  • @dstillman Ah sorry, I see. The problem is macOS version. Mine is macOS catalina 10.15.7 not 15.10.7. It requires macOS 11. Thank you for your reply!!

Just to be clear, the question was what exact steps you took. "reinstalled" isn't a step, and the exact process matters here.

But yes, for Catalina you would have to use the beta, as explained on the page.
