Zotero won't connect to my google Docs

It keeps saying it isnt communicating but I have it open on my desktop and on my browser. When I go to see if I can trouble shoot the connection it says its available but still wont connect. What do I do?

What's the exact error that you're getting, and what exactly are you checking?

I'm trying to cite on google docs but when I click zotero it says zotero connector was unable to communicate with zotero desktop. then i click on trouble shoot the connection and i go to check if its available and it is but it still wont connect

Right but how exactly are you checking, and what are you seeing? The page I linked to above explains how to debug this. This isn't a problem in Zotero itself.

I click on the connector ping link to see if its unavailable but it says its available.

Right, but that all that means is that Zotero is running. The page then explains what to do if the Connector still can't access it.
