Feature request: PDF viewer quick navigation to items in library
I think it would be great to be able to navigate to items from your library via embedded links in the reference list of PDFs in the viewer - or a right click context menu in the PDF viewer to search your library for the selected text by title/author, etc.
I love the new PDF viewer, and found myself wanting to navigate to papers already in my library quickly, using references to them in the PDF text. I suspect it would be challenging to insert accurate hyperlinks into the PDF text, but a "search library for highlighted text" feature might be more straightforward.
For reference, this can be manually done by:
1. Copy highlighted search term (e.g. paper title) from PDF viewer
2. Navigate to My Library
3. Paste search term in search box
4. Select/open (most likely) first result

I recently proposed a rather extravagant notion for such enhanced functionality, but your proposal would be a simpler step in that general direction.

To that end, Zotero (or an add-on) could just automate your steps 1-4 with a right-click option in the PDF reader.
