I have logged your request, but it'll be a while till I get it.

The styles for "Journal of International Business Studies" or "Journal of Management" are close matches that you can use in the meantime.
  • I just looked into this style in detail and it looks like it's just http://www.zotero.org/styles/apa-no-doi-no-issue

If you find any differences, let us know and we can make a new style. Otherwise please confirm that style worked with this journal and we'll add a dependent style, so other academics have it easier finding this style.
  • Hi! Thanks for the help.

It looks very similar indeed. The only difference I can find is that the journal volume is in italics in the APA no doi no issue, whilst in the published papers, the volume is in bold and not in italics. Is there another style that has this small difference? Thank you again!

    Hi,

    The apa-no-doi-no-issue style produces this:
Hisakata, R., Nishida, S., & Johnston, A. (2016). An adaptable metric shapes perceptual space. Current Biology, 26, 1911–1915.

    A sample journal has this:

Balbi, M., Croci, S., Petit, E.J., Butet, A., Georges, R., Madec, L., Caudal, J.-P., & Ernoult, A. (2021). Least-cost path analysis for urban greenways planning: A test with moths and birds across two habitats and two cities. Journal of Applied Ecology, 58, 632–643.

Note that Wiley journals generally have outdated guidelines. I've made several hundred of those styles over the years.
  • Hi,

Thank you for letting me know. I've seen a few with the volume in bold, so I guess they accept both options. This is good to know.

    Thanks again! :)
  • I've checked 6 papers. All of them have the above style.

If the editors come back, just let us know here and then we'll have another look. :)

I've made a dependent style for the above-mentioned APA6 version, so your colleagues have it easier finding the correct style: https://github.com/citation-style-language/styles/pull/6258

  • Thank you! I'll let you know if the editors mention anything :)
