Feature Request: View Annotations in Item Pane
The annotations sidebar within the PDF viewer is nice and very helpful. However, it would be great to be able to access this without having to open the PDF viewer. Could this also be accessed more quickly as another tab within the Item Pane to have 5 buttons at the top: [Info] [Notes] [Annotations] [Tags] [Related]?
After reading and marking a PDF, I am primarily interested in quickly accessing and exporting the notes and highlights I took, rather than having to open up the PDF again. I realize there is an export Annotations to text file, but it is not possible to synchronize that process (as a user may take additional notes in that file), which then requires a cumbersome workflow of generating new annotations exports and deleting old ones if any annotation within the file changes.
