Possible to move Endnote "Image" files?
Friends,
I'm looking forward to the wonderful new world of Zotero, but I'm having a problem. I'm running Endnote 8.02, and many of my entries have attachments under their "image" headings. This is true for all the .doc, .html, and .pdf files that are attached to my entries.
Is it possible to move these directly from Endnote?
Things I've tried already:
*Finding the "internal-pdf" tag. It doesn't exist in the RIS I exported from Endnote.
*Changing the "image" files to "attachments." It does not look like Endnote 8 has the option that has been mentioned elsewhere as part of Endnote X.
Thanks you for your time!

Thank you. The field "Image" is in the drop down, but I am not sure what to do with it. I added it template for books like this:
`TY - `BOOK|`
AU - `Author|`
PY - `Year|`
BT - `Title|`
CY - `City|`
PB - `Publisher|`
M1 - `Number of Volumes|`
SP - `Number of Pages|`
ED - `Series Editor|`
T3 - `Series Title|`
VL - `Edition|`
N1 - `Translator|`
N1 - `Short Title|`
N1 - `Alternate Title|`
CP - `Volume|`
Y2 - `Original Publication|`
SN - `ISBN|`
N1 - `Call Number|`
AN - `Accession Number|`
N1 - `Label|`
M3 - `Electronic Resource Number|`
N1 - `Original Publication|`
RP - `Reprint Edition|`
N1 - `Research Notes|`
L1 - `Link to PDF|`
N1 - `Caption|`
Y2 - `Access Date|`
TA - `Translated Author|`
TT - `Translated Title|`
DB - `Name of Database|`
DP - `Database Provider|`
LA - `Language|`
N1 - `Notes|`
KW - `Keywords|`
N2 - `Abstract|`
AD - `Author Address|`
UR - `URL|
IM - Image|
And it returned this for a book that has an image attached:
TY - BOOK
AU - Wright, Tom
PY - 2009
BT - Justification: God's Plan and Paul's Vision
CY - London
PB - SPCK
SP - 244
N1 - Justification: God's Plan and Paul's Vision
SN - 978-0-281-06090-0
KW - Justification
Paul, the Apostle
Piper, John
First Century Judaism
IM - Image|
ID - 311
ER -
I could be wrong, but that doesn't look like it will be helpful.
Any more thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

Note that there is a Link to PDF field in the original exporter. Presumably, you could use this field instead of the image field. No idea how you'd change these in EN-8, though.
I suppose you could see if you could obtain an inexpensive or trial copy of a more recent version of EndNote to see if they have made improvements that would help you with your migration.
What great advice. That worked!
For reference on this thread: There is a 30-day EndNote X3 trial at www.endnote.com. After I downloaded it, all the files that had been under "Image" were now under "Figure." Following instructions posted elsewhere, I converted the figures to attachments, exported in RIS, and then followed the regular instructions.
Thanks so much for your time, Noksagt.
