When I open a new word doc on my windows laptop the zotero word plugin works fine.
If I copy over text with citations/bibliography from another doc it works fine.

But if I save that document to my laptop drive zotero stops working and gives me an error message every time I try to add a citation or open the zotero document preferences. I keep having to copy all my text to a new unsaved word doc to be able to add a new citation.

I've tried:
-restarting the computer
-reinstalling zotero
- updating the start up menu routing
