Re-arrange parts of the document and the effect on citations
Hello everybody,
first off, I am a German student and English is not my first language, so I really hope I will be able to express myself coherently right now. I have a problem and I can't seem to find an easy solution for it.
So let's get into it:
I am working on an important project and therefor I am using Zotero via Word. I have an existing file with a lot of text already written, and I have also already used citations a lot. My problem is that I have to re-arrange parts of the document now that the writing process is almost over. I always thought that the citation numbers would change automatically when re-arranging the document, but that doesn't seem to be the case.
More simply put:
Citation (50) is now the first citation in the document, while citation (1) is at the very end... and I thought the numbers would automatically change after I re-arrange the positions... God, this is confusing. Was I able to get my point across? Please let me know.
I am really hoping for your help! :)
Wishing you all a nice weekend!
