Citation in google docs

I use the zotero app just fine. But when I try to add citation in google docs, It doesn't work. I've tried to reinstall the google chrome extension, and also tried using Firefox and Microsoft Edge but still nothing happened. What should I do?

    What do you mean by "nothing happened"? What exactly are you doing and what exactly is happening or not happening? Can you provide a Report ID from the Zotero Connector?

    Note that the citation dialog can sometimes appear behind other windows, so check for other Zotero windows behind the main one. If you don't think it's that, try disabling all other browser extensions.

    Thanks for such a quick reply.

    What I mean is it either shows nothing, like the button Z wasn't clicked at all, or it says that "Zotero is updating the document please wait" but no new window is opened. Once the new window appeared, with the bar completely green but it didn't let me write anything on it to search for the citation I wanted to add.

    That’s not a Report ID — a Report ID is just a number.

    But as I say, try disabling other browser extensions.
