Zotero doesn't let me save an arxiv file - Microsoft Edge

Hi,

I just downloaded and installed both the extension and zotero itself to my computer (just in case, I restarted it).

Also, I logged in both in Zotero's web and the app itself and now I am trying to save an article through the extension and I can't.

I tried using the Arxiv ID and I got the information correctly, but I would like to take advantage of the extension.

I am using Microsoft edge: Version 104.0.1293.63 (Official build) (64-bit)
Windows 11
Just in case I tried with my VPN both on and off and still doesnt work.

I would appreciate any advice!

    I have the app open, but if I click on the extension, it tries to save to the web instead of the app and it gets stucked on "Saving to Zotero" but never finishes.

    I was looking at the options and if go to the extension manager I see the following:

    Zotero Status
    Zotero is currently unavailable. If Zotero is open, see the troubleshooting page. (Refreshing nothing happens)

    In The report error section I have the following:

    [JavaScript Error: "Failed to retrieve translators from Zotero Repo Error: HTTP request to https://repo.zotero.org/repo/metadata?version=5.0.97&last=0 rejected with status 0"]

    [JavaScript Error: "No tab with id: 680957516."]

    [JavaScript Error: "OAuth request failed with 0; response was "]

    It looks like all network requests from the Zotero Connector are failing, likely because of another browser extension you have installed.

    Based on your comment I changed Zotero's extension settings.

    Microsoft edge offers to activate an extension on click, to avoid it to see private information such as banking or credit card credentials.

    I had Zotero set the Site access - Allow this extension to read and change all your data on websites you visit: On Click

    I tried changing to "On All Sites" and now it works, thank you for your help!!

    This makes me doubt about the privacy of my sensitive information tho and makes me rethink if I will use the app or not.
