zotero keeps losing connection

Please advise on why I have to constantly reinstall the chrome connector. When I am working in either word or google docs it is unable to link to my web library.

Is there a glitch? How do I fix it as it is affecting my productivity. I am currently writing an assignment without access to my references.

    You'd have to step back and say what precisely the issue is (rather than what you're trying to troubleshoot/fix it, i.e. re-installing the Chrome Connector).

    Note that Zotero Word/Google Docs integration works with your local library, not with the web library. Zotero's Word integration doesn't rely on the Zotero Connector for Chrome at all, so if that's affected, the issue is entirely unrelated to the the connector.
