Can't install Zotero Libre office extension

1104655052: When trying to install the extension, there always comes the error:
"an error occurred during file opening".

"https://www.zotero.org/support/word_processor_plugin_troubleshooting#installation_error" was of no help.
Is there anybody who can tell me how to install zotero for libre office writer.
OS: WIndows 7 professional
Java installed 1.8.0_341 and 18.0.2
Libre office writer 7.3.2.2 (x64)

    Can you explain exactly what you've tried, as well as the full error message from LO when you try to install the .oxt manually? Have you selected Java 18.0.2 in the Advanced pane of the LO preferences?

    I have installed both Zotero and Libre office latest version and tried to install Zotero_OpenOffice_Integration.oxt automatically and manually. The file Zotero_OpenOffice_Integration.oxt cannot be opened. This makes installation of any kind impossible. I have also downloaded Zotero_OpenOffice_Integration.oxt several times through different ways. The file just does not work.

    This is generally a LibreOffice and Java, not a Zotero issue. You won't be able to install any Java extensions into LibreOffice, not just the Zotero one. If you want us to help us you will have to answer dstillman's questions above. You can also seek help in LibreOffice forums, but they'll likely ask you the same questions.

    Same problem here. The extension button do not work and the extencion on Zetero is enabled.

    My problem was [JavaVirtualMachine]: An unexpected error....

    So i installed java:
    sudo apt-get install libreoffice-java-common

    Then I open libreoffice and extensions. Next activate "Zotero Integration" and done.
