Unable to highlight on iPad!

Excited to get ZOTERo on my iPad but I cannot highlight! I can draw, copy text and images but the highlight function will not work no matter what I try. Any ideas/suggestions? THANK YOU,

    Can you take a screen recording of what exactly you're trying, upload it somewhere (e.g., Dropbox or Google Drive), and either provide a link here or send it to support@zotero.org with a link to this thread?

    Problem solved (I think!)

    I forgot that you cannot always highlight some PDFs (such as older newspapers). I am able to highlight "proper" PDFs on both laptop and IPad.
