Erratic number of authors cited before et al.
Hi,
For my Master's thesis I use APA 7th referecing. I didn't modify any of Zotero parameters and everything went just fine during the year.
However, now I don't understand why but for some references Zotero adds an erratic number of authors in the in-text citation.
Details:
Paper 1: from authors X,Y,Z in 2021
Paper 2: from authors X,Y,W in 2021
Before that Zotero would simply insert as an in-text citation:
"X et al. (2021a)" and "X et al. (2021b)"
which seems correct for an APA7th citation
But now for these specific papers where some authors are common in both (i.e. X and Y) Zotero inserts:
"X,Y et al. (2021)" and "X,W,Y et al. (2021)"
Can someone explain that ?
Thanks!
