Stacked view in library, but not when annotating?

It seems that Zotero 6 view settings apply to all views, both the library view and the PDF editor view. However, I would like to have stacked view when looking at the library, but have the panel on the side when annotating a PDF. (Without having to manually switch each time.) I hope this change can be considered for future versions. Thank you.

    I would also love this! The standard view maximizes the amount of text you can read in PDF editor mode, while stacked maximizes the details about the items in the library! Maybe something can be done in the config editor?
