An apology... I'm not a developer, but the Zotero-Night plugin has a lot of bugs. Apparently the developer is short on time and has been unable to address those bugs for two months now. In fact, for that reason I uninstalled that plugin.

Have you tried to disable it and check if the error continues?

yes, I disable it but the error continues. (and in the issue I post, someone said this error happens before he used this plugin)

If you re-enable the Scite plugin, does the problem come back? And if you disable it, does it go away? Can you repeat that reliably?
