bibtex entry from zotero export does not contain access date field

Hi,

I have been trying to get zotero to export the bibtex citation with the "accessed date" field but all I get is

title = {{{UAH ARMOR C-band}} Radar Data. {{Version}} 1.0},
author = {Carey, L. and Vacek, A.},
year = {2017},
publisher = {{UCAR/NCAR - Earth Observing Laboratory}},

}

I am using the American Meteorological Society bst format to have the citation in the following format:

Carey, L., Vacek, A. 2017. UAH ARMOR C-Band Radar Data. Version 1.0. UCAR/NCAR - Earth Observing Laboratory. https://doi.org/10.5065/D6WQ0276. Accessed 23 Jun 2022.

However, at the moment, the output looks like this:

Carey, L., and A. Vacek, 2017: UAH ARMOR C-band radar data. Version 1.0. UCAR/N-
CAR - Earth Observing Laboratory, https://doi.org/10.5065/D6WQ0276.

Any ideas on how to get it right?

    Does your item in Zotero have a URL and Access date? Zotero's stock bibtex exports both.

    The entry in zotero UI has values assigned to both fields but those don't get exported in the .bib file probably because the item type is 'Document'?

    Other entries e.g., journal articles successfully dump the url (at least) when exported.

    shouldn't matter & doesn't for me. Could you run through exactly what you're doing to get the bibtex?

    Using the 'Export item' option (with better bibtex)

    Ah, you'd have to ask on the BBT github then. The BBT export is quite distinct from Zotero's built-in one (it's generally better, but any bugs or unexpected behaviors it has are likely different).
