Adding bibliometric data in Zotero?

Has anybody ever experimented with hooking up bibliometric data (e.g. from the Social Sciences Citation Index, or any other similar database) to the sqlite-database that sits 'underneath' Zotero? IS there a way to 'add' all sources that a certain item cites; OR that cite a certain item?

To do this properly, i.e. to actually store citation linkages in the database, the sqlite is just not set up right, so that's not possible.

As a more manual option, you can add WOS citing sources to the Locate menu to search for such sources for an item, then import into Zotero from the WOS website. When I get a chance, I will write up a WOS locate engine for that.

Sorry, but I'm not following that... Which Locate menu? And what do you mean with "When I get a change..."?

It’s on my todo list to write an engine to search WOS citing articles to include in this list.

I've written a locate engine for Web of Science.

If you download this file: https://raw.githubusercontent.com/bwiernik/zotero-tools/master/engines.json

and place it in the "locate" folder in your Zotero data directory (replacing the existing engines.json), you will be able to search for Web of Science citing articles from the Locate menu.

my reference list ommit some numbers, eg: i dont see [15], [19] and [73]. I have not used them, but the system should synch and close then automatically.
